This demo version of Links Pro allows you to play the first and the tenth holes of Harbour Town Golf Links.
Note - if you are playing this demo off of a CD, it will play much faster if you drag the CD icon for the Links Pro Demo onto your hard disk and play it from there.
To start the game, double click the "Links Pro Demo" application, then select "New Game" from the File menu. To add a player to the game, select them in the "Available Golfers" list and click the Add button ( you can use the players which are provided with the demo or create your own ). Click OK after you have added all the golfers you want to play with.
Note - if you are playing the demo from the CD you will be unable to create new golfers unless you copy the game to your hard drive.
At the next screen, you can select options like wind & green speed, and select the shirt color and tee box for each player. Click OK to start the game.
To swing:
1. Move the arrow cursor over the SWING button.
2. Click and hold the mouse button. This starts the backswing.
3. Release the mouse button when the yellow indicator reaches the top. This sets how hard you are swinging. Releasing past the 12 O' clock line hits the ball with more power but less control.
4. Click the button again when the yellow indicator reaches the bottom (6 O' clock). If you click too soon, the shot will hook left, too late and it will slice right.
You can select different clubs by moving over to the "CLUB" button on the right side of the screen. A menu will pop-up, select the club you want by clicking on it.
